Birthday Splash 2025: A Night to Remember, A Mission Renewed
On June 24th, 2025, our community came together in the most beautiful way to celebrate what would have been Luke’s 10th birthday—and we are humbled and overjoyed to share that our annual Birthday Splash fundraiser raised over $100,000 for Live Like Luke of Texas.
Hosted at the Greenwood Hills Community Club in Richardson, the evening was filled with joy, laughter, and love. More than 300 people attended—families, friends, neighbors, and new supporters—joining together for a cause that is deeply personal to all of us. From cannonballs in the deep end to bidding wars in the silent auction, every moment was filled with community spirit.
One of the most moving highlights of the night came when Mayor Amir Omar and members of the Richardson City Council presented a special proclamation declaring June 24th, 2025 as “Live Like Luke Day” in the City of Richardson. It was an incredibly meaningful tribute to the life and light that Luke brought to those around him and the mission we now carry forward in his name.
Thanks to our amazing sponsors and volunteers, 99% of the money raised at the Birthday Splash will go directly to families walking through the unimaginable reality of critical childhood illness. These funds help ensure that we can continue our mission into 2026 and beyond—offering love, hope, and practical support during the most difficult times.
