Dustin was diagnosed with a congenital heart condition before birth and has remained in the Cardiac NICU since the day he was born. He will require multiple surgeries and is expected to spend several more months in the hospital. During her pregnancy, Dustin`s mom exhausted her paid time off attending medical appointments and is now on unpaid FMLA so she can remain by his side. Just two weeks into their hospital stay, Dustin`s father lost his job, adding even more financial strain. With transportation to and from the hospital also a challenge, Live Like Luke of Texas was honored to provide assistance to help ease their burden so they can focus on Dustin`s care and recovery. Thank you to our donors for making support like this possible!
